04.09.2007 a wonderful welcoming and coming home (100 pictures)
this was just an amazing trip: we took the time to introduce ilona to my family by going to germany for 12 days: we had a great time, lots of family get-togethers and of course also showing ilona germany,including including luxembourg and france (paris) but not to forget the beautiful German town "Mettlach" and its big business: Villeroy&Boch

25.02.2007 Lapland - Levi (91 pictures)
it couldn't get more north for ilona and me: we went to lapland (north finland) to ski, laugh, relax and chill with her aunt/uncle and the cousins: i was welcomed so nicely and the weather was "the best" for skiing. we also went on a lapland safari including a snowmobile to visit reindeers. thanks to ilona and her family to make this vacation really special.

i was very happy to finally meet up again with my family/friends after my last visit, one year ago. this year, i took more time for my family and tried to hang out with my nephew jan as much as possible. i was very happy to also catch up with my sisters again and to be there for my grandmother.
   

01.11.2006 a surprise day for ilona + halloween (73 pictures)
a surprise day for ilona + halloween these pictures document the day where i surprised ilona with train tickets to niagara falls followed by a facial treatment. we also took some pictures of our pumpkin graving night. first time in my life i did that and we fun doing it as well as eating the pumpkin seed after. in addition some work halloween pictures + ilona's parents at your place for "trick or threats".
   

01.09.2006 lake superior - pure nature (126 pictures)
for both of us the first time, we explored the north-west of ontario. beautiful moments, landscapes and pure, clear water to swim in expected us, a pure and real relaxtion for our body, soul and mind. ilona made fire for us to warm us up for the night. ilona was so much fun to travel with! i love travelling with her and our funny stories. and thanks to michelle for her support! read the report to it for more information

   

19.08.2006 their wedding day (72 pictures)
it was finally the time for steve to get married. ilona and i, dressed up, went to their wedding on saturday. we had fun and loved to give them our present. ilona wrapped and decorated the present nicely - thanks to that. the wedding was also a small get-together of former roomates, thus i was able to also hang out with jon again.... and ilona looked damn hot!
   

13.08.2006 seeking nature and silence (42 pictures)
another weekend on a lake. although it was a little bit chilly in the morning, we enjoyed the august sun and even went out for a canoe ride: moments that i won't forget b/c it showed me such beautifil nature which i have not seen in canada before. a beautiful retreat from the busy city.
   

08.08.2006 Completion (39 pictures)
completion of our new home - after a few weeks of unpacking and cleaning, most of the rooms are all set up now. have a look at each room, except the backyard which i forgot to take pictures of. after also setting up the bedroom nicely, we are all happy with our new little home. please also make sure to follow each little special item that sits above almost each door. (interior design by ilona :))
   

06.08.2006 lake simcoe - a wondeful one day vacation (17 pictures)
only an hour away from toronto, this lake is perfect for swimming and tanning. ilona's mother, her brother, ilona and i went there, with a cooler full of nice food including our lunch special: salmon fresh on the barbeque. check out the few pictures we took.

Pictures showing our new place, our new home. while ilona was in charge of the cleaning part, i had to try to understand the secrets of cheap furniture: call it assembly ikea pieces.

   

01.07.2006 Pride 2006 and another Cottage weekend (41 pictures)
Same procedure every year: some pictures of the pride weekend followed by the long canada weekend. as usual, we went up to steve's cottage in apsley, this time, i was in charge of the sunday brunch: a big challenge. check out how our brunch looked like.
   

14.06.2006 Celebrating her birthday (32 pictures)
We both took the Wednesday off to cruise around with balloons and a PT Cruiser --> convertible (!). I tried my best to make Ilona's birthday special - I even put on a birthday head ...wait a minute... isn't the birthday person herself supposed to wear it? I even got the chance to introduce her the special "Oma Gasper" cake (I love that translation).

a combination of a good treatment: nice highlights and a nice haircut for ilona and for all of us a nice house with good food and the first bbq of the season: houesitting at ilona's friends house.

My graduation party in Bonn, almost all of my friends and collegues from university I spent the last 4 years with came to this event ...all of us were well dressed and had a great time while celebrating our graduation. As usual, the best part was the party afterwards.
